What a busy weekend.  Well just to let you know the North American Auto show was being held in Detroit this week, and since my Hubby doesn't have to work on Friday and got free passes we went. We had an enjoyable time but it was a freezing cold walk to the car and back.  The vehichles were fun to look at and my nephew got a ton of cool freebe's come on what more can a 13 year old boy ask for. My only gripe was that the whole "Theme" of concept cars this year were GREEN vehichles. Which hey I'm all for I think we need to do something about our gas immisions and hey it's great that the car companies are comeing out with new idea's. But they are so expensive unless you make a good firm 6 figure income yearly, you will not be able to afford one of these cars soon. The other gripe was that the cars the average joe can afford seem to be going down in gas mileage instead of down. The average gas mileage was  about 11 miles for city driveing and 13 for highway and I'm  not talking about a SUV or a MiniVan. I'm talking about your regular 5 seater Sadan. I was completly mistifide with this and it sort of hit a sore spot in me. Anyway that is my Oppinion on the NAAUS this year. 

Saturday  was a slow day and a day to just curl up and read It got to a high of like 20 degrees here and I was so tired from walking around the show and Detroit on Friday that I pretty much just took it easy.

 Sunday though I did get my Ass into gear and got myself to this years Convocation volunteers meeting. I will be working as security but the cool thing is that the times I was able to get was durring the drumming so I will be able to get in and I will be able to enjoy the Sweet, Sweet drum music while earning my entrance fee to Convo this year. WooHoo. After the meeting I then went to a Rit held by a group that I am apart of and it was wonderfull and refreshing seeing that last months was canceled due to everyone being sick and it just wasn't within the group I really think that half of MI was sick last month.

 Anyway that was my weekend. I hope to have photo's of the Auto show up soon but for right now I am headed off to bed.

I've known about Coven Space for awhile just never got around to joining untill now.  I would say that I'm am Pagan but what kind I do not know. I have been following one path or another since I was  in my teens.  Though my Mom is Catholic and raised us within the Church. My Dad was of an Athiestic nature so I had that influence too. Which helped me to explore what was truely right for me.

 Right now I am part of a group that excepts all paths and am learning from them in ways that I was not able to in the past.  I like books but sort of shy away from the Pagan books anymore because sometimes you can't learn everything from a book. Though I still think for many it is a good start and sometime that is all a person has. But I am a huge advocate of getting on the internet and  going out in the world and finding things out for yourself too.

well that is a little about me hope to meet some interesting and friendly people here.
